Families in Yerucham Receive Food Packages For Passover

Yerucham

Your donation to the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign helped provide Passover foods packages to 350 families facing food insecurity in our partnership city of Yerucham, Israel. Long before the pandemic, helping individuals and families struggling to feed themselves and their loved ones has been a priority for Federation. Now, even in the most extraordinary times, we are continuing to fulfill our mission. Working closely with our partner agency Keren Tzedaka/Hesder Yeshiva Yerucham and in partnership with Israel’s Department of Social Services, Federation helps fund holiday food distribution three times a year: Passover, Rosh Hashanah and Purim. Additionally, Federation allocated emergency COVID-19 relief grants to help five nonprofit organizations combatting hunger, including Keren Tzedaka/Hesder Yeshiva Yerucham, provide household staples, rescued food and ready-made meals to those in need.
