Yerucham Hosts Diller Miami Teen Fellows

Yerucham, Miami’s partnership city in Israel's Negev, is a can't-miss destination, and has been busy this summer hosting many groups from our community! With numerous programs funded by the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign and a wide variety of up-and-coming business ventures, there is plenty to see and do. Over the summer, Yerucham has welcomed multiple groups of high school students, Birthright Israel Miami, the Onward Israel Internship Program and, most recently, the Miami Diller Teen Fellows. As part of their three-week journey throughout the country, Fellows are spending a week immersed in the culture and community of the desert city alongside their Yeucham Diller peers while they enjoy group activities like painting Moroccan tiles in a group art project and volunteering with recently arrived olim (immigrants) at an absorption center. Diller empowers teens from across the globe to become forces of change in their community and beyond. The leadership program is operated by the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE), a Federation subsidiary.
