The Greater Miami Jewish Federation is helping Israelis affected by the current conflict with Iran with an emergency grant to the Fund for Victims of Terror (FVOT).
Republican leadership in Miami-Dade moved quickly to engage with Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) following local news reports that the secretary of the Miami-Dade County Republican Party engaged in viscerally antisemitic and racist rhetoric in a group chat.
“The effectiveness of Federation support in the current war in Israel is actually a product of October 7,” noted Ofer Lichtig, Greater Miami Jewish Federation Representative in Israel.
Yerucham’s recently renovated Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is already being put the test as Israelis brace themselves against Iranian missiles, and thanks to Federation funding, our partner city is now better able to monitor and respond to crises.
The Mission of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is to mobilize human and financial resources to care for those in need, strengthen Jewish life and advance the unity, values and shared purpose of the Jewish people in Miami, in Israel and around the world.
