Nominee Information

Community Service Award is presented to a sitting or retired judge, or an attorney in exceptional circumstances, who has championed important issues and demonstrated significant leadership in service to our society. The honoree is someone whose wisdom and compassion has made a real difference in our judicial or legal system and society; an individual wo possesses an open mind, as well as generous heart. Considerations should include longevity of community service, scope of impact on the Greater Miami/ South Florida community, and the social justice of community service.

For the 2019 Community Service Award, I nominate

Honorable Theodore “Ted” Klein Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to a sitting or retired judge, or an attorney in exceptional circumstances, who is committed to the pursuit of justice, made important contributions to public life and impacted the lives of others in the Greater Miami/ South Florida judicial or legal community. This individual has earned universal respect as an influential advocate who maintains a sterling reputation, shows integrity and compassion, has acted as a gifted mentor to their peers, and an honor to the legal profession.
