Investment and Fund Management

How Foundation Funds Are Invested and Managed

When you entrust The Foundation with your charitable gift planning, we do everything we can to ensure that the benefits of your generosity are maximized. We offer two investment options: a diversified blended strategy invested for total return and a fixed strategy which guarantees a return equivalent to the interest rate of the 90-day US Treasury Bill rate as of the last day of the previous calendar quarter.

Investment policy is set and the ongoing management of Federation’s endowment is overseen by a volunteer Investment Committee. Each member of this committee has significant experience in the financial arena. The Committee’s work is supported by a knowledgeable and experienced professional staff. The Foundation works with an investment consultant and a series of prominent national firms to invest endowment funds.

The goal is growth and preservation of capital. Donors receive detailed quarterly reports listing all fund activity and balances. Our promise is an uncompromising commitment to diligence and transparency. We make it with deep gratitude for your dedication to the Jewish people and your trust in The Foundation.
