Latin Affairs Committee

The Latin Affairs Committee is an advisory committee of the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) to build bridges between the Jewish Community and its Latin American neighbors throughout Miami-Dade County.
 
The Latin Affairs Committee serves to be the intersection of the Jewish Community and the diverse Latin Community of Miami-Dade County. Populated by leaders of the Latin Jewish and Latin Communities, the Committee builds bridges and assures allegiance, ensuring that the Jewish Community is involved in and committed to issues and affairs that impact Miami’s significant Latin American Community. 
 
There will be one appointed Chair from the JCRC Committee and up to 20 at-large committee members. The Chair will serve on the JCRC Committee Executive Committee and additionally serve as liaison to the Community Relations Committee.
 
Terms for committee members and Chair are one-year terms.
 
Meeting are held bi-monthly throughout the year with a break over the summer with an agenda composed by the Community Relations Manager and Committee Chair and run by the Chair.
