Description

How does the Greater Miami Federation address community challenges?

At this session, you will meet two of the Federation’s professionals who are the drivers of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s local and global annual allocations process. Using data collected from our most recent Miami Jewish Community Population Study as our case study, we will dive into the ways in which data has been/will be used to inform community planning and allocations decisions. You will also learn how the real allocation decisions are made and get to know the different local and global allocations committees that are responsible for making these decisions.

Goals:

Use your interpersonal and communication skills to review and solve a case study connected to the Miami Jewish Population study.

Learn how Federation’s community building, and allocations decisions have been influenced by data collected from the Miami Jewish Population Study.

Examine the results of the latest study and learn about the decisions that are already being made with the 2024 Miami Jewish Population Study.
