Description
This session will take us to the remarkable city that served as the political and religious center of Spain for centuries, and hosted one of the great Jewish communities of the Diaspora. As we wander through its alleys and "enter" the magnificent El Transity synagogue, we will meet with the wealthy and wise, the writers and simple folk, who made up that community that became known as "the Jerusalem of Sefarad", the heart of Jewish Spain.
