Description

This three-speaker panel will focus on helping community members to understand how the recent horrific events in Israel came to pass, what Israel’s current objectives in the war are, and how to put the war into context given the broader lens of Jewish and Israeli history in the Middle East.

This event will feature three distinguished panelists:

- The Honorable Roy K. Altman, Federal Judge for the Southern District of Florida
- Lenny Roth, J.D., Co-chair of the Florida congressional committee pro-Israel PAC
- Bobby Gilbert, J.D., Member of the Executive Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation

The discussion will be moderated by Nicole Vahlkamp, a second year law student at the University of Miami School of Law and President of the Law School’s Cardozo Jewish Legal Society.
