Maxine and Kenneth Schwartz

Maxine and Kenneth Schwartz are among our Jewish community’s most steadfast and enthusiastic supporters. Their exemplary leadership and commitment to the Greater Miami Jewish Federation demonstrates their deep concern for Israel and the well-being of our people.
Since the 1990s, when Maxine and Kenny led Miami’s first mega missions to Israel, inspiring so many to get involved in our Jewish community, they have played major roles in more than 30 local and national Israel missions. Whenever Israel has been in crisis, Maxine and Kenny have been instrumental in Miami’s response, organizing Israel emergency fund campaigns and solidarity missions.
Maxine is a Life Member of Federation’s Board of Directors, and she was the first woman to serve as Federation’s General Campaign Chair. As Director of Development and Outreach at the University of Miami’s Sue and Leonard Miller Center for Contemporary Judaic Studies, she inspires the next generation by bringing them face-to-face with Middle East leaders, innovators and scholars.
Kenny served on Federation’s Board of Directors for many years, leading numerous committees and events, and has also been a UJA National Vice Chair, as well as President of Temple Sinai North Dade.
Guided by their collective sense of Jewish responsibility, Maxine and Kenny have made a profound impact on our people that will be felt in Miami and in Israel for generations to come.
