Super Sunday
Sunday, March 15, 2015
Beginning at 9 a.m.
Greater Miami Jewish Federation
4200 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami

Super Sunday, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s largest annual community-wide fundraising phonathon, has traditionally been a day of giving, as volunteer callers reach out to members of Miami’s Jewish community to ask for support of the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign. For the second year in a row, Super Sunday, again chaired by the Halberstein Family on Sunday, March 15, will provide additional meaning for participants through hands-on volunteer activities coordinated by Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center as part of Good Deeds Day.

Created by philanthropist Shari Arison, Good Deeds Day is an annual global celebration, where hundreds of thousands of people worldwide join together to do good deeds for the benefit of others and the planet.

More than 1,000 volunteers are expected to converge on Federation headquarters to make phone calls and to embark on hands-on volunteer activities that include delivering food packages, visiting the elderly, helping the homeless, sprucing up local neighborhoods and much more. The purpose of all of this: to expand the circles of good in the world.

Super Sunday is not just a day-long phonathon; it is also a marathon of good deeds that build Jewish community, help those in need and strengthen Jewish life in Miami, in Israel and worldwide 365 days a year through Federation programs and services.
