Federation Attorneys’ Division Brings Together Surfside Settlement Legal Team


Join Federation Attorneys' Division for Litigating Through Tragedy: The Surfside Settlement Negotiation for a behind-the-scenes look at how the legal community navigated numerous sensitive and complex issues to achieve a settlement following the devastating collapse of Champlain Towers South. Members of both sides of the litigation will participate in the panel discussion, including Michael Goldberg, Court-Appointed Receiver; Matt Gorson, Co-Defense Counsel; the Honorable Michael A. Hanzman, Presiding Judge; and Harley S. Tropin, Co-Chair, Lead Plaintiffs' Counsel. Rachel Furst, Co-Chair, Lead Plaintiffs' Counsel, will act as the moderator.
