Students From Two Florida Hillels Visit Yerucham During Birthright

Students from two Miami-Dade Hillels — Hillel at FIU and University of Miami Hillel — recently participated in Taglit-Birthright Israel and visited Miami’s partnership city of Yerucham. Students from both schools met with local schoolchildren, participated in a drum circle and explored the sights and sounds of Yerucham. The Annual Federation/UJA Campaign supports seven Hillels across Florida. These experiences allowed students to understand the significance of the Miami-Yerucham connection, an going partnership between the two cities, supported by the Federation/UJA Campaign.
