Teens Give Back With J-Serve 2022

Teenagers looking for a meaningful way to give back can participate in J-SERVE 2022 on Monday, February 21. Organized by Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC), the hands-on experience typically takes place on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to honor the work and values of the noted civil rights leader but was rescheduled due to COVID-19. On this day of service and education, teens will learn about food insecurity in Miami by volunteering at local urban gardens, school gardens and farms. Service locations are: Health in the Hood, Belafonte TACOLCY, Earth ‘N Us Farm and Green Haven Project. Volunteers must provide their own roundtrip transportation to the service site.
