Leadership Awards to Be Presented at 86th Annual Meeting

A highlight of Federation’s Annual Meeting is the presentation of leadership awards, and this year’s event will honor six deserving community volunteers on Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. in the Jungle Island Ballroom. Underscoring the importance of these awards, Federation Board Chair Ariel Bentata said, “One of the most exciting moments of chairing Federation is providing appropriate recognition to the most talented, committed and hard-working members of our community and encouraging them to continue giving so much of themselves to help others.” Gisela and Daniel Ades and Jessica Katz will receive the Stanley C. Myers Presidents’ Leadership Award; Dana Yemin Schrager will be presented with the Robert Russell Fellowship Award; and Ali Mendoza and Brian Riemer will accept the Sandra C. Goldstein Young Leadership Award. In addition, Bentata himself will be recognized for his remarkable service, dedication and concern for the welfare of the Jewish people as he turns over the position to Board Chair-Elect Lily Serviansky. The 86th Annual Meeting is being chaired by Debbie and David Mendal. Click here for more information and to RSVP.
