Leket Israel Helps Fight Food Insufficiency

Your donation to the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign is helping Israelis in need receive food and nutritional assistance. Through Leket Israel — the country’s leading food rescue organization — food that would otherwise go to waste is distributed to thousands of Israelis, including children, single-parent families and the elderly. This year, Leket Israel has provided a monthly average of more than 3 million pounds of food from farmers, packing houses, catering halls, hotels, cafeterias and military bases to 200 non-profit organizations serving Israel’s most vulnerable citizens.
