Onward Israel Now Accepting Applications

Do you feel a calling to support Israel following the October 7 attacks? Young adults from Miami-Dade County who attend any Florida university or college can apply now to the Onward Israel summer session, which runs May 23-July 17. Students will spend eight weeks working in a professional internship and living in Tel Aviv while immersing themselves in daily Israeli life and culture and strengthening their personal connection to the country. Participants will build their resumes working alongside Israeli peers in fields such as business, finance, communications, high-tech and the arts. Maia, a Miami participants, said, “From day one, I was entrusted with tasks I never thought I could manage. My internship has shown me what my capabilities are and given me the tools to advance my studies when I go back to school.” The highly subsidized program, a department of Taglit-Birthright Israel, is supported by Federation, our overseas partner The Jewish Agency for Israel, the Beacon and Shapira Foundations and other philanthropists.
