Jacob Solomon, Federation President and CEO, to Be Honored at The Main Event

“This is a poignant moment for our Jewish community,” said Federation Board Chair Ariel Bentata, on the upcoming retirement of Federation President and CEO Jacob Solomon, one of the longest-serving CEOs in the North American Federation system. On Sunday, February 18, Bentata will join approximately 1,400 guests from across Miami’s Jewish community to honor Solomon with the prestigious 2024 Friend of Israel Humanitarian Award. The Main Event will take place at the Loews Miami Beach. “Throughout his tenure, Jacob has helped shape Miami’s remarkable Jewish landscape,” added Bentata, who is co-chairing the evening with General Campaign Chair Lily Serviansky. “He has a deep love for Miami and Israel, as well as a steadfast commitment to Jewish peoplehood throughout the world.” Federation is also delighted to welcome Guest of Honor Israeli Ambassador to the United States His Excellency Michael Herzog and keynote speaker His Excellency Reuven Rivlin, 10th President of the State of Israel.
