Welcome the Voices of Ukrainian Refugees to Your Seder Table

As we share the powerful story of exodus and freedom during Pesach, our thoughts remain with the thousands of Ukrainian Jews fleeing the violent Russian invasion. Federation overseas partner the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) is distributing two Passover supplements that bring the voices of Ukraine’s Jews to your Seder table. The first is a special reading acknowledging Ukraine’s Jews and our responsibility for each other, while the second includes the personal stories of JDC clients and volunteers. Despite the ongoing war, JDC is ensuring — with the support of Federation funds — that the most vulnerable Jews can celebrate a meaningful holiday and will be hosting Seders for thousands of refugees and Jewish community members across Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Moldova and Poland.
