Jordan Barrocas

Jordan Barrocas is an entrepreneur and Miami native who co-founded Three Jerks Jerky in 2013. He has lead the company to 2,500% growth over three years and recently appeared on the hit ABC television show, Shark Tank. After fielding offers from four out of five Sharks, Jordan successfully negotiated a partnership from investor and fashion mogul, Daymond John. Jordan received an MBA in finance from the University of Miami in 2011 and has practical experience in finance, manufacturing, retail and packaged consumer products.

Della Heiman

Della was born in Cincinnati, OH, and has lived and worked in the US, Spain, Chile, Israel, Jordan, China, and Ethiopia in the fields of political communications, textile manufacturing, venture capital, health/wellness, and food service. She graduated from Harvard Business School in 2014. Della lives in Miami FL, where she recently launched a culinary incubator (www.thewynwoodyard.com) and healthy fast casual restaurant concept (www.dellabowls.com).

David Yarus

@DavidYarus is the Founder of mllnnl, a millennial marketing agency that helps organizations like Birthright Israel and The Israeli Consulate understand and inspire millennials worldwide. David is also the founder of JSwipe - the world's largest and fastest-growing Jewish dating app – with more than half a million users.

He is passionate about technology, millennial empowerment, and all things #future. Previously, David was the General Manager of Mr Youth, where he ran the youth marketing for brands like Coca-Cola, Microsoft, and Spotify. David spends his free time thinking about Facebook ad strategy, studying consumer behavior, and empowering communities and organizations with social media best-practices.

Chira Cassel, Moderator

Chira Cassel is a Miami native. She graduated from Barnard College and spent her career as an actress in both NYC and L.A. working on theatre, film, voice over, stand up, and comedy projects. Chira also trained in both Vinyasa and Forrest Yoga (with Ana Forrest), and taught in both cities.

While in L.A., Chira built community and social interaction online for Fortune 500 companies as the Vice President and a Lead User Experience Designer at Dynamic Interactive, a highly-regarded full service digital agency with a core competency of UX. She launched and ran the company’s User Testing division as well.

Chira is now Co-Founder and Director of The Sacred Space Miami, a center for personal growth and transformation in the Wynwood Arts District. For the last three and a half years, Chira has helped create and curate wellness experiences (yoga, meditation, etc.) around the city that not only engage and connect the community, but also help Miamians live more conscious, healthy and happy lives.

The Miami-Dade Jewish Community Study is a once-a-decade study sponsored by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and conducted by the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago. Women Lead Federation

For the first time in the history of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, two women assume the organization’s top leadership positions. Lily Serviansky will become Chair of the Board and Mojdeh Khaghan Danial will serve as General Campaign Chair, following their installation at Federation’s 86th Annual Meeting, on Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Jungle Island Ballroom.
