Meet Scott Kaufman, Interim President and CEO of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation

“Jewish community is the ultimate team sport,” said Scott Kaufman, the new President and CEO - Interim of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, “and nobody has a better team than Jewish Miami!” Kaufman, who began on July 1, led the Jewish Federation of Detroit for 10 years, galvanizing its younger generations and surpassing fundraising goals. Here in Miami, he noted, “The current uptick in population growth, along with the heightened sense of Jewish connectivity, has created many important opportunities that we can seize. But no one person can create change on their own.” He added, “It takes everyone. Miami is home to one of the greatest Jewish communities in the world.”
