Jewish College and University Students Can Apply for a 2026 Sylvia Tuman Scholarship by May 31

Jewish college and university students have until May 31 to apply for a 2026 Sylvia Tuman Scholarship. Administered by The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the Sylvia Tuman Scholarship Program provides a limited number of grants to Jewish students in need of financial assistance. Since its launch in 2016, more than $200,000 has been awarded. “It makes a big difference,” said 2025 recipient Anastacia Gold, noting, “The extra support allowed me to access more tools to help me succeed.” Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted into an accredited undergraduate or graduate educational institution in Miami-Dade or Broward counties; preference is given to Miami-Dade students.
