Agencies, Day Schools and Synagogues

Description

You support local Jewish organizations – or depend upon them to help loved ones in need. You are committed to providing children with a quality Jewish education, and support local day schools and synagogue religious schools in any way you can.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation is right there with you, funding the programs and services you value most. Further, we are committed to the betterment of these services for generations to come. And that’s where our Agencies, Day Schools and Synagogues (ADS) Department comes in.

Every day, ADS works with professionals and volunteer leadership at 45 local Federation beneficiary agencies, including 14 Jewish day schools, three Jewish Community Centers, Jewish Community Services and more. The purpose? To build stronger relationships between their organizations and Federation.

ADS works to educate, inform and ultimately expand the community’s support of the Federation’s grassroots efforts on behalf of the Jewish people worldwide. Strengthening these partnerships also allows for a better understanding of the community’s needs and how they can be better served. And as the broader community gains a better understanding of Federation and our Mission, their support of the Annual Campaign grows – ultimately providing more allocable dollars for the agencies that need them most. It’s a win for everyone involved.

ADS programs enable Federation to enrich the community in ways you may not realize. Several of these programs are directed primarily at educating our children about the meaning of caring. These include the community-wide Tzedakah Box Project, Read-a-Thon, and High Holiday Card Design Contest. Other ADS programs include “Shabbat Across Miami,” phonathons at day schools and synagogues, and the Super Sunday Incentive Program.

ADS is constantly working to create innovative ways to reach out and to seek participation in building a unified Jewish community. If you would like to be part of the exciting ADS team, contact us at [email protected] or 786.866.8410.
