Anne and Emmett is an imagined conversation between Anne Frank and Emmett Till, two teenagers whose lives were tragically cut short by hatred and injustice. In a place called Memory, Anne reflects on her years in hiding during the Holocaust, while Emmett shares his story of racial violence in the American South. Together, they search for understanding, reconciliation and hope.

Written by Janet Langhart Cohen as a call to action against racism and anti-Semitism, this powerful and moving play reminds us not only to remember but to act.

Description: Get your own set for the holiday. Sets start at $54 but we also have sponsored sets available. One of the special Sukkot mitzvot is the mitzvah of the "Four Kinds" - the lulav, etrog, myrtle and willow. This is a mitzvah like any other mitzvah of the Torah, but it is a very significant one and symbolic of unity and harmony. When the blessings are recited over them, it is customary to wave them to all the four winds and also upward and downward, signifying that G-d is everywhere.
