Description

The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) is a Washington, DC-based nonpartisan research institute dedicated to national security and foreign policy. Founded shortly after September 11, 2001, FDD brings together experts from government, intelligence, the military, academia, and journalism to produce policy research and analysis aimed at strengthening U.S. national security and supporting free, democratic nations around the world. FDD has long been a strong voice on issues of particular concern to the Jewish community, including countering Iran's nuclear ambitions, combating terrorism, and standing firmly with Israel.
