Meet Our Speakers

Chani Lipskar is the Rebbetzin and co-founder of The Shul of Bal Harbour, together with her husband Rabbi Sholom D. Lipskar, emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rebbe M.M. Schneerson OBM.

Mrs. Lipskar also does personal counseling and develops educational and social programs for The Shul, as well as working in Real Estate. Mrs. Lipskar is active in many organizations and directs a class for Brides on how to establish a Jewish home. Rabbi and Mrs. Lipskar have two children, twelve grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.






Sexologist Marilyn Volker offers advice and tips on sexuality and healthy relationships. Dr. Marilyn K. Volker, Sexologist for the past thirty-eight (38) years is a Diplomat of the American Board of Sexology and an Associate Fellow of The American Academy of Clinical Sexologists. She sits on the faculty of four South Florida universities— University of Miami, Florida International University, St. Thomas University, Barry University—as well as is Associate Professor at The Institute For Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, San Francisco, California, where she received her doctorate in 1991.

Women Lead Federation

For the first time in the history of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, two women assume the organization’s top leadership positions. Lily Serviansky will become Chair of the Board and Mojdeh Khaghan Danial will serve as General Campaign Chair, following their installation at Federation’s 86th Annual Meeting, on Thursday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. at the Jungle Island Ballroom.
