Rabbi Solomon Schiff works to build relationships with local consuls general from different countries by providing insight into the Jewish community. Over the past year, Rabbi Schiff has met with more than 15 consuls general, representing countries from all over the world, including Mexico, Argentina, Italy, Japan and the Netherlands. The meetings provide a chance to educate the leaders on aspects of Judaism, its history and traditions, while touring the Memorial. “My meetings enable them to learn firsthand about the Holocaust and connect them with our Jewish community,” explained Rabbi Schiff, Executive Director Emeritus of the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami and past Chair of the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach. “They appreciate these opportunities and report to their home offices about them.” The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is a Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
