Friendship Campus Opens in South Dade

The Friendship Circle has a beautiful new home in South Dade, following the grand opening of the Friendship Campus earlier this month. More than 1,000 members of the community, including many elected officials, attended the opening ceremony on the new 20,000-square-foot campus, now home to both the Friendship Circle and Chabad Center of Kendall/Pinecrest. Designed as a place where children of all abilities can come together, form lasting friendships and experience a sense of belonging, the Friendship Circle’s facilities include a kitchen and cooking studio, art and music studios, interactive indoor play area, life skills room, movement studio, preschool, as well as lounges for volunteers, parents and teens. There’s also a "snoozle room" where children can enjoy a serene environment that promotes relaxation and emotional balance. The campus also features a sanctuary, social hall, classrooms and more for participants’ education and religious observance. The Friendship Circle (including a chapter in Miami Beach) receives a yearly allocation from the Annual Federation Campaign.
