Fund for Victims of Terror Aids Israelis After Recent Terror Attacks

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, through our overseas partner The Jewish Agency for Israel’s Fund for the Victims of Terror, immediately responded to last week's terror attacks in Tel Aviv by distributing emergency financial aid to all of the victims or their families. During the Israel Defense Forces’ latest operation, a Palestinian terrorist rammed a crowded bus stop in North Tel Aviv, injuring nine civilians, including a young pregnant woman who tragically lost her baby. Two Israeli soldiers were also murdered during the operation. Since its creation in 2002, the Fund has supported 9,000 families affected by terrorist incidents and rocket fire. Following the most recent incidents, Jewish Agency Board of Governors Chair Mark Wilf and Jewish Federations of North America President and CEO Eric Fingerhut visited four of the victims to deliver financial support from the Fund for the Victims of Terror and to demonstrate North American Jewry’s commitment to the people of Israel.
