Program Helps Advocate for the Rights of People of All Abilities

JDAIM

Nearly 30% of Floridians have a disability and you can be part of the solution to inclusion. Join Federation’s Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance (JAA) and Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) to learn about the Americans for Disabilities Act and how you can help make a difference. On Tuesday, February 16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m., Sabrina Cohen, founder of the Sabrina Cohen Foundation and Debbie Dietz, Executive Director of the Disability Independence Group, will lead Advocating for the Rights of People of All Abilities as part of Jewish Disability Advocacy Month. Click here for more information and to register. The vision of the Miami Jewish Abilities Alliance is to promote an inclusive, spirited environment that celebrates the diversity in our community and the uniqueness of every member. It is the Jewish community’s network that links individuals with disabilities and their families to resources, services, support groups, workshops, clinics and recreational programs within their neighborhood.
