Watch Names Not Numbers, a Holocaust Documentary Created by Miami Schoolchildren and the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach

Tune into Channel 10, WPLG this Sunday, November 15 at 2:30 PM to watch Names Not Numbers, part of a groundbreaking initiative organized by the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach that brought together Holocaust Survivors and students to create a documentary film. Names Not Numbers follows the experiences of a dynamic group of students from Miami-Dade County schools who participated in a life-changing journey interviewing Holocaust Survivors while learning documentary filmmaking skills. The production is an amalgam of the five features created by students from Miami Beach Senior High School, Fisher-Feinberg K-8 Center, South Miami Senior High School, Miami Coral Park High School and RASG Hebrew Academy during the 2018-2019 school year. In a joint effort by the Interfaith Broadcasting Commission, ABC Network and Names Not Numbers, more than 260 ABC affiliates are showing the film across the country. The documentary premiered during the 2020 Miami Jewish Film Festival. The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is a Committee of Federation.
