Faith Leaders Travel to Tallahassee to Lobby Government Officials

A delegation of Jewish clergy from Miami, joined by mothers who have lost children to gun violence, recently traveled to Tallahassee to lobby Senator Jeff Brandes and other government leaders for reasonable gun safety laws. Rabbi Fred Klein, Executive Vice President of the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami, Rabbi Robyn Fisher of Beth Or Miami and Rabbi Mario Rojzman of Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus spoke passionately about the toll of gun violence on today’s society. In addition, they reminded leaders of the importance of the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach as a community resource in teaching lessons about the Shoah, anti-Semitism and hate.
