Three Years Into the War, Federation Continues Helping Ukrainian Jews

February 24 marked three years since Russia invaded Ukraine, and Federation is continuing steadfast support of tens of thousands of Ukrainian Jews who are depending on our help. Each day throughout unrelenting attacks, rolling blackouts, frigid temperatures and skyrocketing inflation, Federation has provided uninterrupted, lifesaving care for the elderly, children, refugees, the newly impoverished and the internally displaced. Through the Annual Federation Campaign, we have delivered vital food, medicine, housing, homecare, winter survival aid, trauma and psychosocial support, employment assistance and educational initiatives for children living in desperate circumstances. Since the start of the crisis in 2022, more than 55,000 vulnerable Jews have received more than 1.6 million pounds of humanitarian supplies, including those forced to remain in their home communities and those having to flee to other locations.
