Virtual Programs Commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day

The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is committed to educating our community about the horrors of the Shoah, which includes witnessing the powerful stories of Survivors. With this in mind, the Memorial is offering two virtual educational programs in commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Thursday, January 27. Beginning at 10 a.m., you can watch a documentary film about Holocaust Survivor Siggi Wilzig and hear from author Joshua M. Greene whose book, Unstoppable, traces Wilzig’s remarkable path from Auschwitz to Wall Street. At 1 p.m., the Memorial is offering a virtual tour of the artwork of Holocaust Survivor Maryan, conducted by the Museum of Contemporary Art, where his work is currently on display. Both programs are appropriate for students in grades 5-12. Click here for more information and to register for the virtual events. The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is a Committee of Federation.
