The Art, Music, and Poetry of the Holocaust with Dr Robert Watson

It was not enough to simply try to stay alive. Many noted Jewish intellectuals, composers, and artists in camps such as Theresienstadt hoped to preserve a degree of humanity in the face of almost certain death and unspeakable horror. So too did they realize that Hitler was not just trying to eliminate European Jewry but also the culture. This program celebrates the art produced in the camps and explores this unique lens into the Holocaust.

March 30th, 7 PM at Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus 20350 NE 26th Ave, Miami, FL 33180
