In the first feature film produced in Israel chronicling the October 7 attack perpetrated by Hamas, SUPERNOVA provides a retrospective of 24 hours at the Nova festival in Re’im through the lens of young individuals who endured the horror. The initial filming began just 48 hours after the catastrophic incident, during which eight partygoers were documented. The narrative unfolds chronologically, weaving together their firsthand accounts to construct a record of the events.

Cantor Azi Schwartz is the Senior Cantor of Park Avenue Synagogue in New York City and a celebrated vocal performer and recording artist with an astonishing online following. His music reaches both Jewish and interfaith audiences. Born and raised in Israel, Cantor Schwartz is passionate about bringing Jewish liturgy to wider audiences.
