Israeli director Jonathan Paz's film based on a true story of a young Jewish girl living in the mountains of Morocco who gives birth to a baby from her forbidden love. While first hiding her new-born child, she is suspected by the village leaders who make her undergo "The Milk Trial" in the village square to "test" to see if she is producing milk. On behalf of the Officers, Board of Directors, and staff of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, we offer our deepest condolences to the families of the 17 students and staff senselessly and horrifically slaughtered yesterday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and to the entire school community of classmates, faculty and staff. We also offer our prayers for the full recovery of those injured and traumatized. All of South Florida stands together in offering our support of friendship to our neighbors in Broward County in the aftermath of this unthinkable tragedy.

Rabbi Matisyahu Devlin, the son of a Jewish mother and devout Catholic father, will tell his tale of growing up in the Church until that fateful night in a Manhattan coffee shop. Featured on National Geographic, his story is sure to entertain and inspire from beginning to end.

ISRAEL 70TH Anniversary Celebration with the SOUTH FLORIDA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA conducted by Sebrina Alfonso presenting a work by Israeli composer NIMROD BORENSTEIN “If You Will It It Is No Dream”, based on words of Theodore Herzl. The beautiful music was composed as a celebration for Israel’s 70th anniversary and it is a USA premier. The concert program continues with Ravel's piano concerto in C performed by Cuban piano virtuoso "ALDO GAVILLAN" and finalizes with the Symphonie Fantastic by Berlioz, it is an epic for a huge orchestra through its movements, it tells the story of an artist’s self-destructive passion for a beautiful woman.
Concerts will take place at 7:30 PM April 15 at the Spanish River Congregation in Boca Raton, April 17th at the Broward Center in Fort Lauderdale, April 18th at the Arsht Center in Miami and April 19th at the Tennessee Williams theater in Key west.
