Description

Join us for an electrifying discussion how ‘The Founding Fathers’ repugnance at the Inquisition, supported by a Jewish presence in the new country, helped to enshrine religious freedom in the early Republic.

Keynote Speaker:

Dr. Isaac Amon, JHA Director of Academic Research, earned a J.D., LL.M, Ph.D., from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. A descendant of Jews who fled Spain for the Ottoman Empire in 1492, he worked at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague and investigated ISIS.
