The author tells the story of the triumph of the human spirit over
formidable odds; the story of a young couple falling in love in
the wrong place at the right time; the story of a young couple's
struggle for survival after escaping Nazi-occupied Poland; the
story of a loving son's recounting the resilience and struggle of
his beloved parents.
