Israel Solidarity Rally Draws Thousands

On Tuesday, October 10, more than 3,000 people came together at the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach to stand in solidarity with the people of Israel and to denounce terrorism, in response to the attacks Hamas launched against Israel on Saturday, October 7. Presented by Federation, its Jewish Community Relations Council, the Rabbinical Association of Greater Miami and 62 other community organizations, the inspiring program included elected officials and clergy. Among them were Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), U.S. Representative Frederica Wilson (D-FL), Florida Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nunez, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and City of Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber.
