Become a Jewish Supplementary School Teacher

The Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) is ready to cultivate a new generation of Jewish educators with its latest initiative The Learning Collective (TLC) — a Jewish Teacher Residency, and you could be part of it! Whether you're a young professional, a retiree, an empty nester with free time, or anyone who wants to make a difference in the world of Jewish education — TLC is an exciting opportunity to get involved. CAJE is collaborating with their tri-county partners at the Broward and Palm Beach Jewish federations to recruit and engage cohorts of new, part-time teachers who will be matched with South Florida synagogue schools. You will receive $600 simply by exploring whether this path is right for you through six online training sessions designed to equip and empower you to be the best educator you can be, with or without prior teaching experience. Once placed in a school, you will receive ongoing mentoring and support. If you love children, love being Jewish and are curious about combining these two passions, then this opportunity is for you! Register now and begin teaching in August. Click here to learn more.
