Yom Ha’Zikaron Holds Renewed Meaning For Jews Worldwide

Yom Ha’Zikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day, which honors Israel’s fallen soldiers, and Yom Ha’Atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, take on an even greater meaning this year. As we mourn and celebrate next week, we take a moment to consider all that is happening in Israel, on college campuses, in social media and in public settings, and how they impact our thoughts and actions. Please click here to read this important statement from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Now more than ever we must stand together, show our solidarity with our spiritual homeland and demonstrate our Jewish pride. We invite you to commemorate Yom Ha’Zikaron and Yom Ha’Atzmaut in Miami-Dade County. Click here to find an event near you.
