Join us for a conversation with Valley of Tears' Director, Yaron Zilberman, Actor Lee Biran, actress Joy Rieger, moderated by Israel Intelligence expert, Col (Ret.) Miri Eisin

On April 12 at 8PM EDT, Israel Bonds and American Friends of Natal will host an intimate conversation with the cast and director of the acclaimed Israeli series ‘Valley of Tears' – a fact-based dramatization of the harrowing early days of the Yom Kippur War - in honor of Yom Hazikaron. An insightful discussion will be moderated by intelligence, security and geopolitical expert Col. (Ret.) Miri Eisin. The event will also feature Shir Peled, the IDF’s first female undercover combat soldier, and inspiration for a major character on ‘Fauda.’ Members of Natal's clinical team will be on the program as well. Natal is an organization supporting Israeli war and terror-related trauma victims. They have helped over 100,000 victims to date.

Daniel Lewis will discuss his biography "A Life in Choreography and the Art of Dance", co-authored by Donna Krasnow with dance critic Jordan Levin. Dance Now will perform three dance pieces.

The performance will feature a contemporary ballet duet "Mitosis" from co-director of Dance Now Diego Salterini, the premier of a new work "No Strings in the clouds" by Daniel Lewis(2021), about life in the cloud during the pandemic, and a reconstruction of " La Malinche" choreographed by Jose Limon (1947)

Seven actors bring to life the extraordinary story of violins played in ghettos, forests and concentration camps... and of the passionate Israeli violin maker determined to restore them. Now heard in performances all over the world, they are called the Violins of Hope. Musical underscore played by The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony. The live event with the actors will be in English, with simultaneous translations to Spanish. The performance will be available to watch between April 7-9 with Spanish and Portuguese subtitles.
