Description

The Olga Lengyel Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights (TOLI), in partnership with Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, cordially invites you to attend Denial, Distortion, and Defending Democracy, a special event commemorating International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The program will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM, at The Greater Miami Jewish Federation, located at 4200 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami.

The evening will feature Dr. Kathrin Meyer, who served as Secretary General of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) from 2008–2025. A German citizen, Dr. Meyer has dedicated her career to preserving the memory of the Holocaust and is internationally recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on antisemitism, as well as the consequences of Holocaust denial and distortion and the threats they pose to democratic societies.
