The 42nd Annual MARJCC Hebraica Alex Halberstein Maccabi Games is an athletic event held yearly for Jewish families. It is an Olympic-style sporting competition featuring over 700 competitive games in 13 different sports, including basketball, swimming, track and field, golf, tennis, soccer, volleyball, flag football, chess, dominos, and more.
The opening ceremony will be on Sunday, November 12 at 6 PM at the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center (MARJCC) located at 18900 NE 25th Avenue, North Miami Beach, FL

We set up the shiva home by covering mirrors, providing low seats, Kaddish cards, sidurs, books on mourning, among other items.
Our mission is to lighten the load for all Jewish mourners, elevate the souls of the departed by providing opportunities to do mitzvot in their name, and enable friends and families of the mourner to focus on supporting the mourner.

A family-friendly morning program on the Miami Beach JCC Sol Stern Dock using the kayaks and canoes of the Mariner Program to help keep the Indian Creek Waterway clean in a pre-High Holiday – Reverse Tashlich. A donation of $18 per person is suggested (children under 12 are free). MBJCC Lifeguards will be present. Refreshments will be served!
A portion of the proceeds support the MBJCC Mariners program and Clean Miami Beach, a non-profit dedicated to clean beaches water and ending single-use plastics. They will be on hand to assist with nets, grabbers, buckets and other equipment.
What is a Reverse Tashlich? Sponsored by the Jewish organization Tikkun HaYam - Repair the Sea, the Reverse Tashlich program, conducted worldwide, reimagines the High Holiday Tashlich ceremony of symbolically casting away sins into water. The symbolism is reversed: participants come together to clean up waterways that impact our lives, fostering a spiritual connection to and stewardship for the environment.

OneTable empowers people who don’t yet have a consistent Shabbat dinner practice to build one that feels authentic, sustainable and valuable. The OneTable community is made up of people 21-39ish who are not in undergraduate college and are looking to find and share this powerful experience.
OneTable supports hosts by providing a $10 credit per guest to any of its Nourishment partners. YLD offers an additional $10 per guest. All guests will receive a special Shabbat bag.
