Applications are now being accepted by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation for three 2025 grant opportunities: Women’s Impact Initiative Grants, Jewish Incubator Grants and the new Israel Engagement & Education Grants.

Women’s Impact Initiative Grants support initiatives in Miami that inspire and empower Jewish self-identifying women and girls and improve our local community through programs that achieve social, economic, religious and political equality through a gender lens. Jewish Incubator Grants support nonprofits that strengthen Miami’s Jewish community through innovative, impactful and forward-thinking programs that enrich social service, educational or Jewish identity-building. Israel Engagement & Education Grants support cultural and educational initiatives in Miami that create understanding, build bridges and nurture lifelong engagement with Israel. HMMB Seeks Audio or Video of Survivors Singing Childhood Songs

Submit by Monday, September 1

HMMB Education Center

The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach is seeking audio or video recordings of Holocaust Survivors singing songs from their childhood: As part of the development of our new Education Center, we are partnering with a creative team to create a special audioscape — a sound composition that honors and reflects the vibrant cultural and spiritual life of Jewish communities in Europe before the Holocaust.

To bring this experience to life, we’re looking for recordings from Survivor family members of songs remembered from the past. These may include religious melodies, lullabies, folk tunes or other songs from childhood or community life. If you or someone you know has such recordings, we would be honored to consider them for inclusion.

We kindly request that files be submitted in MP3 or MP4 format (audio or video) and sent to [email protected] by September 1, with the Subject Line: HMMB Audioscape.
