Go Green Challah Bake
Posted by Liat Stilman on 08/28/2018 @ 10:12 AM
In 2016, Skylake launched it’s first Shabbat Project Challah Bake. The event is amazing in that it brings 100’s of Jewish women together from throughout the city to learn and experience our special link to our heritage in the making of challah, the bread which is used ceremonially on the Jewish Sabbath.
The Most Important Reason to Go Green. Helping create a sustainable earth is important to each and every person on the planet, whether they will admit it or not. There are many reasons going green is important. In this case we are going to do a Challah Bake with recycling materials this is to show the importance of going green, and also of staying healthy. We will have fun and enjoy with our friends. Come and join us for an evening of music, Jewish unity, and fun as we braid challah together in preparation for the Shabbat Project.
