The Fight for Truth, Jewish Civil Rights and Tackling Antisemitism on Campus and Beyond

Professor Shai Davidai, leading the fight, calling out Jew hatred and anti-Israel rhetoric on campus, will be in conversation with Deedee Bitran, Senior Counsel & Director of Pro Bono, StandWithUs Saidoff Legal Department. Davidai, a Columbia University professor, was temporarily banned from his position after “harassing and intimidating” other University employees at the time of an October 7 commemoration event. This event is free and open to the community but there is a suggested donation of $18 to help support Arts, Culture and Ideas events at the Miami Beach JCC.

Israeli Singer and "Fauda" Actor Idan Amedi at The Hard Rock Live

Idan Amedi is an award-winning singer, songwriter, musician and actor known for his role as Sagi Tzur in Fauda. On October 7, Amedi was called to duty and promptly began his IDF service in Gaza. He was seriously wounded in an explosion that killed six Israeli soldiers from his Engineering Corps reserve unit. After sustaining severe injuries, Amedi underwent a long rehabilitation process. After a long physical and emotional recovery, he is back onstage with his eight-piece band.
