Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center invites you to join us for a special evening as we welcome special Shabbat guest speaker RESCUED HOSTAGE Luis Har, who, alongside his brother-in-law Fernando Marman, was rescued by the courageous members of the Israeli Shin Bet security agency and the elite Yamam counterterrorism unit of the police after enduring 129 days in captivity at the hands of Hamas.

The Miami-Dade Jewish Community Study is a once-a-decade study sponsored by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and conducted by the Cohen Center for Modern Jewish Studies at Brandeis University in partnership with NORC at the University of Chicago. The study will provide vital information on the number and makeup of Jewish households in Miami-Dade County, as well as their attitudes and needs. It will provide critical information that will help plan the future of our evolving community. Please complete the survey if you receive an invitation via US mail, email from [email protected] or by phone. Join our presenter, Zion Ozeri from the program "The Power of an Image to Convey a Message" for a 2-Part Zoom Photo Workshop!
Share a photo you captured with your Smart Phone with the group that communicates how you are feeling since October 7, participate in a critique to help refine the message you want to communicate and learn a digital photography skill in the process.
