Applications Available for the Miami Leo Martin March of the Living

Applications are now open for Miami's Leo Martin March of the Living (MOTL) program.

While the evolving public health guidelines may affect certain aspects of the program including the possibility of travel, the impactful six-month educational experience may still include a journey to Poland and Israel to visit important sites of Jewish life and history. The program provides teens a powerful education about the 6 million Jews murdered during the Shoah and a deep learning about Israel. MOTL is a program of the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE), a Federation subsidiary agency. All participants are required to be vaccinated.

Federation's Free Kosher Food Distribution Drive-Thru

Kosher Food Distribution

Community members experiencing food insecurity can receive help at Federation's free kosher food distribution drive-thru on Thursday, September 30 from 9-11 a.m. at Federation headquarters, 4200 Biscayne Boulevard. Packages of kosher chicken and beef, fresh produce, milk, eggs, challah, dry goods and other supplies will be placed in the trunks of waiting cars. Please enter the parking lot via the northbound lane of Federal Highway. Participants must remain in their cars and wear masks. All CDC COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed.

MOED Healing: A Support Group for Jewish People of Color

The Jewish Federations of North American JEDI (Jewish equity, diversity & inclusion) Initiative & Network of Jewish Human Services Agencies have partnered to create MOED Healing, a communal space that will tend to the minds and hearts of Jewish people of color and relieve some of the stress of racially charged interactions in daily lives.
